Sorry, but I didn't have alot of before and during pictures but you get the gist.
I got this wall hanging from Target a while back. It was on clearance for $1.25 and I had originally planned to hang it as, in a grouping of similar plaques. Now, I'm thinking of redoing most of the ones I got. We shall see.
This is after. I painted the whole thing solid black and decoupaged this palm tree on the front and hung with a black ribbon. (the palm tree is the same stencil I used for the tray, here but this time, I cut the design out of scrapbook paper to change it up a bit.)It's found a home right here for now.
This area looked like this for several years. Even hubby noticed the change...but, then again he's in the kitchen alot of the time.
