I am joining Susan's
Metamorphosis Monday party again this week.
Sorry, but I didn't have
alot of before and during pictures but you get the
gist.
I got this wall hanging from Target a while back. It was on clearance for $1.25 and I had originally planned to hang it as, in a grouping of similar plaques. Now, I'm thinking of redoing most of the ones I got. We shall see.

This is after. I painted the whole thing solid black and decoupaged this palm tree on the front and hung with a black ribbon. (the palm tree is the same stencil I used for the tray,
here but this time, I cut the design out of scrapbook paper to change it up a bit.)
It's found a home right here for now.

This area looked like this for several years. Even hubby noticed the change...but, then again he's in the kitchen
alot of the time.

Thanks for stopping in! Please do leave a comment...I'm so addicted to what you all think!

Hello from Kansas!
It's such fun to see what others have been up to.
You have come up with a great idea.
Neat.

It definitely makes a BIG difference in your kitchen, IMO!! The previous decorations seemed to just fade away and float, kwim? This is bold, grounded, and very cool!!
I love the boldness of the black -- very chic!
