My Thrifty Treasures.....

Again I am joining Rhoda's Thrify Finds weekly blog party!

I so enjoy seeing others' treasure and of course sharing mine!

Please stop in and see the linky party! You can see it here.
I have a few to share this week.

I found TWO of these puppies at Good Will. They were .50 each! I was so excited. I've already cleaned them both and painted one Heirloom White (by Krylon). I may keep one but I think I am going to do an initial on one and give it away at Christmas. So cute huh?

This is my BIG find, and Hubby's nemesis.

I stop in His House from time to time about once a week. I found this Friday and just about squealed when I saw it. It is in perfect condition and no worn areas. A dream.

It did have three cushions with it (really?) but we stopped at the dump on the way home and got rid of them. I plan to find a single cushion for the bottom and three across the back (maybe), paint it (not clue what color-suggestions wanted), and put it in our back yard. Hubby thinks I'm nuts and just shook his head when I told him last night we had to go get it. The cost? $15!

And this is him, God love him, smiling making fun of me unloading it.

Thanks for stopping in and feel free to give me opinions!
You'll be sorry if you don't go see Rhoda!!

I love those platters. I think one would look adorable with an initial, of course! They spray paint so well ... you really can't go wrong. I'm getting ready to chalkboard one of mine! ;)

That bench is super cute. I see some sort of beaching blue for the cushion...I am working on a tray that looks just like yours right now! It's transforming into a chalkboard!

Reid, cute bench!! I'm so glad you got that. Hubbies don't always understand, but glad yours helped you out. Love that deal!

Great rattan bench. One thing to help care for it is to give it a really GOOD, heavy soaking. Let it dry out of direct sunlight, then soak it again. That stuff soaks up the water and keeps it resilient. I scored a table and chairs thru freecycle today and posted pics on my blog. When the winter weather sets in, either cover it or put it in storage for the worst of the weather.

I love it and my hubby thinks I am nuts too! But don't they always love the end result? Great finds!

I really like the bench.

The bench is cute - Hubby wonders why I buy some of the things I do also but then he buys something that I wonder about.

Hi there! I have no idea how i'm going to make the monogram on the planters. I was thinking of using a stencil? Let me know what you come up with.
